The Weekend
Looking forward to seeing you soon. RSVP for the wedding using the form below — in June we’ll send separate electronic invitations for the other events.
A Portland historian will take folks on a walking tour of the Old Port and select historic sites. Get a feel for the city as you spend an afternoon with the bride and groom, catch up with family, and meet some new friends.
Join us for one of Portland’s greatest traditions: celebrating Independence Day on the Eastern Promenade with a fireworks show over Casco Bay. We’ll be hosting a BBQ with loads of food, sports, games, and more. Park attire and a sweater for the evening recommended.
We’ve chartered a boat for guests to go to Peaks Island together — a circuitous, scenic 50-minute cruise through the harbor and Casco Bay. Meet at the downtown Portland ferry terminal at 2:15pm. If you’d prefer to go over on your own, the Casco Bay Lines ferry is $7.70 one-way. Ceremony starts at 4pm. Last ferry back to the mainland departs at 11:55pm.
The wedding and reception are outside on grass. Suggested dress is smart casual or Aloha Attire. For guys: pants and a collared shirt are great, ties discouraged, aloha shirts welcome. For ladies: summer dresses with flat sandals are great, heels discouraged. Evenings get cool — bring a sweater or jacket.
Lani’s parents are hosting an informal dinner — come over and hang out if you’re still in town!

We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
Getting There
The Portland International Jetport is a good choice for those flying in. Most major carriers have flights to Portland, including Southwest. Flights to Boston’s Logan Airport are often cheaper, and Concord Trailways runs 2-hour bus rides to Portland from Logan ($45 round trip) or South Station downtown ($36 round trip).
For reference: the airport is a 15-minute drive from downtown. Anything within downtown is a 15-minute walk apart at most. It’s a 15–20 minute walk up a slight hill from the Holiday Inn downtown to Will’s house on the Eastern Prom, where the July 4th party will be.

Moments
We’ve had three engagement photo shoots — California, China, and Maine — figured we might as well capture the moments while we still have our youth. ;)
The full wedding gallery from Peaks Island lives in our personal archives. The original 2014 site hosted a 40-photo slideshow by Alex Daley-Clark of Portland. If you’d like copies, just get in touch.
